Equestrian
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer equestrian for the spring 2023 season.
The Equestrian program offers Special Olympics athletes the experience of horseback riding as sport. Athletes must already participate in therapeutic riding at either TRRC or LeCheval. At present, we are unable to offer a beginner or skills program. The Special Olympics equestrian training sessions are held weekly from mid-March through early June. Athletes are evaluated by their certified riding instructors, who are also Special Olympics certified coaches, and placed in group lessons by skill level and horse availability. Training times vary accordingly.
